Come paint my breast with lavender. Clothe me in the enthralling scent of sunflowers. Wrap my waist with bells of fortune, Glaze my skin with raw honey. Let the sweet glow of my naked skin Blend with the golden rays of the sun While I dance to the tune of the spirits, Pleasing the gods. The ocean bears witness That all that fills my heart is love, For it’s the only euphony my soul sings.
I did not summon you with spells, nor seek to bind the wind. I simply filled the basin with roses, scented the steam with amber and myrrh, and waited for longing to find its own way home. Do not come nearer than desire allows. There is a sweetness that blooms only in restraint, a quiet tenderness reserved for those who arrive with reverence. Sit. Tell me of the roads that wearied yo

A Million Ways…a song for the hopeless romantics, the midnight dreamers, and those who have ever loved someone in a thousand different ways, all at once
I’d walk a thousand miles.
A dance to yearnings.
Crimson Chambers a rose pressed between pages, a whispered temptation, a wound you return to willingly.
Once I danced in crimson
Between the veil and the melody, a thousand kingdoms rise and fall with the movement of the court dancer.
She danced as Scheherazade once spoke: one story at a time, keeping the night itself enchanted. Her body was the syntax, the music her ink. With every dip and swell, she spun a vivid folklore out of thin air, leaving her audience suspended in the spaces between her steps, begging for the dawn.
A folk piece…one for the books.
Story woven in sands of time.
